The plans for Sarum Corner were approved in 1949. The applicant was H E Hockley. This was Plot 8 of the eight plots being developed in the late 1940's/early 1950's. The house is on the corner of Chilbolton Avenue and Sarum Road. The orientation of the house appears to indicate that the front of the house was facing Sarum Road, although in later years, the driveway was on Chilbolton Avenue.

The house had a kitchen, dining room, lounge, study and four bedrooms.
