Fairgirth was built for Francis A N Bott. The plans were approved in 1949 (HRO 5110). No architect is named on the plans.

The plans show a house with kitchen, dining room, lounge, utility room and three bedrooms.

The house was on Plot 1 of the eight plots being developed in the late 1940's/early 1950's which became numbers 6 to 20.
