Grace S Boyd

Grace Sandilands Boyd was born 21 Jan 1915 in the area of Haywood and Tarbrax, Lanark, Scotland. She was the seventh child of John Boyd, a ploughman and his wife Margaret.

By 1939 Grace was living  in Winchester, and working as a parlour maid for James Troup. James Troup died in 1982 and left his house in Chilbolton Avenue to Grace, who by then was his housekeeper. Grace sold the house in the mid-1980's.

Grace died in March 2000, in Winchester.
